There’s a saying it’s not about how well that person knows you but how long they had been with you.
And today i’m visiting my junior highschool best gal, Dara Amanda. I’ll always like her name, I dont think we’ll ever keep in touch again if it weren’t for Java Jazz because that’s how we ran to each other after 2 years of not seeing one another, on day 1 and day 3 as we watched Lauv but she was far behind.
Since that happened we decided to meet up the next week after, what’s better than a non-stop long talks that you didn’t even feel like the time is moving with your long-lost bestfriend. We talked since 3 pm until 9 pm at Djournal Coffee. Why that place? Because it’s the place we always had coffee back then when we were on the 8th grade. Honestly, we planned to meet in a place we had been so it’ll be all like walking through the nostalgia lane. We didnt’t even play with our phone more than a minute because there was so many stories to tell we even fight throught it. “I’m not finish yet!” “Me first!”. That's how it goes as we tell each other everything that has been going on with our lives, the ups and downs. Even though she had not been by my side as I haven't been in hers, I told her everything, details. It feels like she's the last person whom I just talked to yesterday, feels like I hadn't meet any new friends in highschool. She's my first friend my mom introduced when it was my first day being the 8th grader. We mostly talked about how childish and embarrassing we were back then and it made us noticed that we've changed better, honestly, hopefully. What an unplanned reunion it is.
