Winter in Japan

The 6th-15th February taught me that it's very tiring being a tourist, but enjoyable at the same time. My family and i went to Osaka. The weather was so cold because it's winter there. But i could get use to it. Snow made my face white and less-acne. Hired an airbnb apartment in Tennoji, where the neighborhood was so beautiful and the buildings. *sigh* you know how it is, i could do a photoshoot in every corner because it was so aesthetic. Mom and her sister couldn't handle the cold. It can be 3 degrees in the morning even though the sun's really sunny. Here's a shot on Day 1.

Day 2: Went to Fushimi Inari,Kyoto, a-must place to visit, especially for tourist. It's the head shrine of Inari. The building was so spectacular and the view was so breathtaking. It was difficult to take pictures because it was raining, -2 degrees as i remembered, and my hands got so cold it was swollen red. But a big thanks to my sis who took some shots.

i was expecting a shot where i was alone but it was so crowded and raining,
there's people lining up for taking pictures. but this is ok

The struggle taking this shot because our hands were freezing.
Day 3: Universal Studio Japan! Regret bc should've wake up earlier so we could've arrived earlier before it got a little crowded. At this moment, i just want the time to freeze for a moment so i can ride all of the ride. The first ride i rode was this back-ward roller coaster. I felt so alive and it was so worth it yet scary and my whole body was shaking. I felt like the happiest after i went on it. No regrets. And, of course, we wouldn't miss the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was so real! The buildings, Hogwarts. There was so many people buying the scarfs, coats and magic wands. It was really enchanting and unreal.

Everyone thought i was wearing a cotton candy lookin
silly, but truth is, it's a huge snoopy hat, it keeps my head
warm
It looked so real and i would study here if it does exist.
Day 4: Shinkansen is the fastest, yet it took long to go to Tokyo from Osaka. It was pretty rookery to go through all the struggles in the train-station because the train officers don't understand english as much as we don't understand their language. It took more than 3 hours, hard to sleep in the train because i didn't want to miss the view. Thinking, how i want the time go slower because i want this to last long, i can't get enough. It was so tiring to search the airbnb apartment because all of the streets looks the same, we felt lost and starving at the same time. We arrived at the apartment at about 6 and felt very unproductive because it was a rough, and tiring day, so spent the night on the social medias and also took a look at the shots from the camera on the day before. Mum suggested us to sleep early because tomorrow we are going to Gala! It's gonna be my first snow which is really exciting!

Day 5: Took hours to go to Gala Yuzawa, where snows exist, there's this moment in the train, before we went to the tunnel, the view was so beautiful, it filled with woods, paddy filled and the village. Then when the train went through the tunnel, the window filled with snow, everything filled with snow. It was like magic and i felt like in Narnia. #kedengerannorak #maklumin

Spent the evening, approaching the night strolling and enjoying the streets with a little bit of shopping. The street night lights was so beautiful, and filled with people walking fast, some go to the train station, some go to cafes and restaurant on the sidewalk, and of course, some shop. including me.

Look how pretty it is
My eyes looks like a hunter, but i swear this was a candid

Day 6: Probably the most unforgettable, because we went to the most happiest place on Earth, where dreams come true. Where everything felt like fantasy and where the love, magic and happiness spreads all over the place!

In front of the Tokyo Disney Resort.
It was magical, Disney brought me to my childhood memories where i don't
have to worry about anything and knowing that everything is going to be
alright. How i hate being old.
Golden Hour shot by my talented sis

Day 7: Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura; Japanese Cultural theme park! It's an outdoor place, surrounded by the woods on the other side, and the park has seven theatres featuring traditionally themed shows including plays, ninja action and oiran shows combined with street performances and parades. It wasn't crowded, which is a good thing to take pictures.

It snowed! -2 degrees

Day 8: Enjoying the city streets in Harajuku, and also went through all the struggles carrying lots of huge plastic bags full of souvenirs for my friends and family. The bag was so heavy that my hands got swollen and my legs got weary for a long walk on the sidewalk and getting to the train station.

Not just in the train or in the sidewalks where Japanese peeps would study and
read books, but also in the coffee shops. Bc we, Indonesian, mostly
gossips about stuff instead of being like them.

Day 9: Home. Can't believe i'm gonna go home today. I'm gonna miss everything. The cold, the snow, the airbnb apartment because it was so tiny yet comfortable, like the places in those korean dramas. I'm gonna miss Ongiri filled with tuna which i always eat like 2-3 times a day everytime we had a short stop in FamilyMart. I'm gonna miss the vending machine in every corner on the street. I'm gonna miss the people because they know manners really well, and seem very responsible. I'm gonna miss the street where i never even see a single trash on it, because they clean it every single damn day. I'm gonna miss everything and this whole 9 days felt like minutes. Went to the airport and bought another bags of souvenirs. Bought some tokyo banana, kit-kat and green teas. Until next time, Japan.
